I’d take Bruce in a heartbeat. Hell of a coach who gets the absolute most out of his players. Give him Kentucky resources and it’s final four or bust every year.
Most of you people on this board need to step down. If you would just leave coach Pope alone and let him run the program instead of acting like you know more than he does about basketball it would go a lot better.

It feels like the UK administration has made a decision to not win big in basketball. The Pope hire, this 100 yr JMI deal which I've read is specifically more restrictive on the basketball side. Could their motives stem from a line of thinking portions of BBN will begin spending money on football. Somehow increasing net dollars for UK. Orrrr Mitch Barnhart, Calpaluto, jmi execs
Mark Pope is gonna go from being a beloved former player to one of the most hated men in the state behind Mitch. Is that really worth the money. Apparently Pope doesn’t love UK and the program.
Hey old account....I remember posting this as I sat in Bridgestone arena with my family and we didn't score a bucket the first five minutes. I remember Pope getting bood off the court by his own fans. I remember sitting there looking side to side at all the other BBN looking lost. Arena was silent. I remember losing by 35 and seeing the players not give a crap. Is this the game Chandler tried to sell some hats after?

I don't owe Pope any sympathy. I don't owe him a damn thing. He owes UK tho. He's got a job to do and he can't do it. I'm not going to fake being excited going into year three with a coach that should have been fired.
Cheer on the team sure. It's my team. Cheer on the coach sure because he coaches my favorite team . Expecting the same results from his last twelve years as a coach isn't bitching and whining. It's being fed up with it.
Let's keep speaking about the corruption that allowed such a unqualified coach to sit in that seat. Why was he allowed to? Because he's a yes man that will do whatever he's told to.
