This was my question. You seriously dont sign contracts to play G-league?

Looked it up, they apparently can sign contracts with the league, and not with a particular team. Or they can sign a two way contract allowing for league play and g league play.

I dont see how they get past the "these are pro players" thing, but I'm sure there's a loophole.

But hey, I wonder what the going rate for g league players are. They seem like a surer bet than less experienced guys.
