Maybe so, but the plain fact is that Trump, who is already a lame duck and will turn 80 in June, has become increasingly popular with this war, with the grifting, with the pedophilia, and with the record inflation. The rats (Republicans in general) are going to start abandoning ship very soon, and Trump will become increasingly marginalized. Those rats need somewhere to go and someone to watch. I'm no Megyn Kelly fan, but she is, at least arguably, smart to anticipate this by positioning herself as both conservative and critical of Trump.
