He needs at least seven, though realistically 8-9. We need at minimum three starters, I believe if KW is our starting SF, that’s a weak spot for us, right out the gate. He’s just not demonstrated the ability to be a stud SF in the SEC, I know he was projected well in the draft, though that hasn’t translated yet at UK, IMO. At least three of our six returnees will have next to no impact, Pope is in a hell of a mess, losing out to Providence is a new low for UK recruiting.
I’d try to end up with 12. Not sure all those that you included actually stay. So I’ll say 7 more
I think 12 would be about right, 14 just seems like too many, by the time you get to the last 2 they probably aren't going to help and if you G Ave to pay them then it's not really worth it
Need a PG, a true CG who leans PG, a SG (maybe 2 if we go all-in on Kam only playing 3-4), and two PF or a PF and a PF/C. If we get another big for depth, all the better. Get us another Almonor in here. Loved that guy.
So, I'd say five more guys at least. Seven at most. If seven, much of the team will be redshirted, developmental, and backups. Pope needs to play nine at most next year. Preferably eight. Potter, Noah, M Williams, and a backup or two that's brought in should only see the court on senior day or at the end of blowouts.
