Yeah. I wonder if Mo D will be a way better player under Rick. More than likely.
I hope he does well but as many guys played out of position and as dysfunctional as we were this year, I don't blame Pope or the players as much as a lot of people on here do. It was a disappointing season and I'd say it was as tough on the players as it was us. Lol! I still say there was a chemistry problem too but no PG1, no stud 5 and guys just learning on the fly to play positions that they weren't cut out to play, played a big role in several people underperforming. It was a tough deal, no matter who was to blame. Next year has to be better.

I can easily see that. He would fit in well with Pitino and would respond well to fiery motivational coaching that highly demands max effort.
Yes, Mo was one of the few guys that didn’t loaf. He better read Kevin Willard’s book about how working for Pitino causes baldness.

I think there’s a good chance he’s a better system fit for St. John’s compared to his past couple of stops, but I somewhat disagree that Pitino is going to unlock a new level for him as a player. His lack of size puts a pretty hard ceiling on his potential when he doesn’t have any perimeter skills.

Pitino won't let him do all the stupid garbage where he dribbles into traffic, loses the ball, etc. He will have Mo rebounding, defending, and getting stick backs. That's all that's allowed.

Trust Pitino will address his ******** body language, him shooting threes, blaming his issues on everyone else, and inconsistent effort. Mo should go to St John under Pinito. Best thing for his career.
