If he’s reporting Zepeda is visiting Iowa, then I’m sure it’s accurate for the reason that he interviewed him a couple of days ago.

You mean if Ryder doesn’t wrestle next year he can claim a medical redshirt for the injury this year, even though he kept wrestling through the NCAA tournament?
I believe he is saying Ryder will be taking a medshirt next year while Berge wrestles 184.
To be portaled over, they have to bring in someone better than you.
Existing athletes would be grandfathered in.

Even if not grandfathered and lawsuits not happening, he'd have 4 years left and would wrestle 3 more, barring another injury, and have wrestled 4 NCAAS.
I don’t think we can put together a top 2 with any and all options available. Definitely a two-horse race. But I like the optimism!
I'm not so sure. First off i don't honestly think that line up ever comes to fruition, but if it did... we could potentially outscore OSU at 25, 49, 74, 84, 97 and heavy. Block at 57 would hopefully negate some of their points at 57 as would Crookham at 133 and Nassir at 41. Once again it's a pipe dream, but that lineup would be much more competitive than you give it credit.I don’t think we can put together a top 2 with any and all options available. That lineup would get third place. It would be a very good team. tOSU and Nebraska will both still have pretty good teams next year but both have some holes. Third is ripe for the taking. VT could sneak up there too if they can get all of those young studs in at once with Henson.

Facundo has been in college for 5 years. He's been to the tourney twice and not reached the podium either time.
This is big boy ball. He's earned being replaced by someone better.
Maybe he should go somewhere he can’t refuse stick for his last 2 years. It’s probably going to be someplace that isn’t going to be able to give him the money, but he hasn’t earned that big bag, and his high school ranking is a distant memory.

So right now we know forsure that Crookham and Zepeda has visited Iowa. Hoping that we hear of more coming to visit and us locking them down!

If healthy, Crookham is the only 133 in the portal that could take out a Davino, Siedel or Ono back to back. (Assuming Jax & Blaze move up but he would give them a run)

The problem with Crookham is the "if healthy" part. Highly unlikely that he could wrestle a full schedule and not be injured. He might be able to be on a very tight pitch count and be ok for the post season. When he is healthy he is one of the best in the country but the best ability is sometimes availability.

He will not end up at Iowa, but i think he's the type of kid who would benefit from our program if he bought in. Complimentary siillset with the baseline Iowa tends to get to.
Who knows? Hell who knows if those guys will be where they are now. You think Ohio State wouldn't recruit over Stiles, lol?
