I’d like for him to stay but if he does, the Merrimack kid needs to come off the board immediately. There’d be no purpose to him relative to our other needs.

Actually, we all have to really hope at this point that the outreaching to those types of kids is intended as anninsurance policy IN CASE guys like Lino or J Mike enter so we’re ready with a back up.

If some of the guards are leaving, our emphasis on guard recruiting would at least makes sense. if we’re expecting to keep at least 1 and maybe 2 pure PGs (Lino and J Mike), Tariq (combo) and Powers - the fact that we’re focusing on 6-2 guards that play on the MAAC and aren’t great shooters is really concerning. It would mean we once again have no strategy and are kitchen sinking it again. Just reach out to a ton of kids and hope we add some guys who put up stats. Would not be good.

exactly. As guards Brunson and Lino are almost polar opposites. Stupid comparison

and you’re right - Tariq’s game has aspects similar to Brunson.
