Kid really came on down the stretch statistically. Like Kam, he has a slower release on his shot imo.

If Stokes does go to Kansas, wonder if you just play the 3 spot by committee. Kam/this kid(could maybe slide to some small ball 4 with his rebounding numbers)/Hawthorne.

That would be three "tweeners" .
None can really put the ball on the floor and get there own shot.
We have to have at least one guy with serious guard skills at the three.
Stokes
Byrd
Harris.
Probably be in on guys who haven't entered yet.

Agree - I want minimal guys who can effectively attack off the bounce. While they must be at least decent threats from the perimeter, being able to attack off the bounce is critical.

It's so annoying that Stokes is hurting these teams, and other kids, by continuing to delay his decision. I guarantee this dude knows what his decision is going to be at this point. He's just manipulating the situation for money, clout, etc.

He's potentially hurting teams by letting them hold a spot for him, and not recruiting over him, with the big NIL spend for a top tier portal players. He is also potentially impacting other people from getting paid to go to the school they want because the school is holding the spot for Stokes.

It's so freaking selfish TBH.

I know we all want him at UK because it would be a win to get the #1 recruit in the class, and evidence that Pope is making progress, but the guy already has complaints of locker room issues. Plus this entire situation is a selfish look. IDK. I'm sure he'll be good, I guess. It's just really annoying. It just seems selfish.

If he can pull 10% of the players he is having zoom meetings with, he will have a talented squad. I hope he understands he is recruiting for a future here past next march
