Last year a 30 second ad cost 2 million during title game. NBC also has Peacock which has 44 million subs now. Micah Parsons is making 46.6 million a season so what's a million dollars these days? Walmart CEO Doug McMillon earned $27.5 in 2025

Peacock ran discounts for awhile at the beginning. Since then they've built-up offerings with more sports including Super Bowl and Olympics. The DVR and phone viewing are convenient.

"The streamer recorded 44 million paying subscribers, compared with 41 million at the end of the third quarter and 36 million a year ago, the company said Thursday. "

If you have TMobile, Xfinity/Comcast, at&t, you get peacock for free the first year and then you pay close to nothing with Tmobile so that boosts their numbers. If you have Xfinity/Comcast, you get it as part of your internet package. That right there is probably half their subs

peacock sucks by the way

All streaming services suck. The prices keep going up and the quality of programs offered decrease. There's not much difference between streaming services and cable. They each have one thing they do well and nothing else.

100%
cable is now cheaper when you look at total cost with better viewing and same options now.

Streaming's still much better than cable. Netflix is $8.99 ..think it was $7 or $8 when I first got it in 2012. Yeah, commercials suck ..but they sucked on cable, too.

And so long as they keep cancel anytime, TV streaming packages will be better than cable too. Canceled in Feb this year so about 6 months without big TV bill.

If I really wanted to save $$, I'd pare down to 1 streaming service, watch it until there was nothing good left, cancel, do the same with next one.

If they get rid of cancel anytime: they just gave me the reason not to torture myself with RU football anymore, lol.

no it's not, lol

how much are you paying for the full package of YouTubetv plus internet and then the additional streaming/choices you want outside of what YouTubetv offers? cable is cheaper now

I had YouTubetv, hulu, etc...

I have both streaming and cable our our places and the cable fking destroys streaming in cost, quality, and content. Xfinity at NJ, spectrum/YouTubetv in Florida

Right now, I'm paying nothing for YT TV..because it's canceled. So paying for Internet only.

All I watch on it is football so easy cancel. That's like $550/year I save vs cable, which didn't let me cancel anytime.

But I guess if you have to keep up with the Kardashians and ilk on cable,it might make up for that ...😜
