Orange Beach Gulf Shores has a zero tolerance on alcohol drugs from April through almost the end of May. They keep it cleaned up pretty good down here.
I participated in Florida spring break. While fun, many other productive things can be done in its place.
Gulf Shores has a zero tolerance policy for alcohol on the beach during spring break and they enforce it. Orange Beach considered it but didn’t enact it but doesn’t mind that they get lumped in with GS and it discourages spring breakers. There’s so many snowbirds in GS/ OB during the offseason that drugs are required just to get them to happy hour for the half price appetizer.
I’m making note to hold off on black tar heroin at Turquoise Place until at least June.
Just curious, but why would there be a “zero tolerance” policy for alcohol on the beach at any time of year, provided that you were of age and/or not causing a scene?
I participated in spring break too. But I was raised better than to trash the hosts condo & cause disturbances that get the police called. These kids (& the 2 adults) are garbage.
Yeah, no alcohol on the beach for the month of March in PCB, actually arrested a couple that were getting married and had champagne bottles in there hand after the ceremony. They totally need to rethink the policy but so many dumbasses come here that they took the ALL IN approach and lump everyone in together.
This year they've implemented a curfew for those under 18 in certain areas that starts at 8pm. The areas in question are where a bunch of condos are located and for the Pier Park shopping areas. It's the part of the beach where there's been shootings and takeovers and also the area where Dak Prescott was jumped back in 2015.
