You stated irrelevant facts, if you didn't mean anything else by your comments than the military is voluntary. We know that. The point was, if you're going to promote military action whereby we're going to kill others, and be killed by others, you should make sure to also volunteer to do so, or have your loved ones volunteer. It's easy to send others you don't know or love over to die/kill ... it's quite different to send yourself, or others you love over to do the same. And the fact that our military is volunteer does nothing to change this fact. One poster asked another poster if his kids enlisted (volunteered). You tried to attack that question by pointing out our military is volunteer-based (which he already acknowledged in his question, and did nothing to critique said question).
