JQ doesn't have to worry about team practices anymore and he can just focus on individual workouts. Mark Pope made sure of that in the second round of the NCAA tournament.

Quaintance wasn't getting any lift on those shots, although I don't know if he should or ever did before (his perimeter shooting was so poor who paid attention). My only point with that is that his explosiveness using his legs is the bulk of his value.

I do believe Quaintance had an issue with his leg after the St. John's game - especially after watching that CBS documentary thing. Whether that was still an issue by the end of the season I don't know.

Hard to believe that since his dad was adamant that he shouldn't be on a minutes limit against Bellarmine (the game after STJ) and that UK (Pope?) put 'handcuffs' on him.

I think he’s FOS, his issue was being sore and swelling. It’s going to be an issue the rest of his life according to most who have had that surgery. He has the best rehab in the nation. If he couldn’t play after two months rest he should be getting more surgery now.

There are two options I think. He lied(my opinion) and that’s why he’s working out now for the draft. The other is he needs more surgery and he won’t or shouldn’t get drafted and be working out right now. We will know more after the draft. His dad can’t help posting his workouts so we shall see what they look like as well. If we see him out there dunking/cutting/running. I smell some BS.

Unfortunately I don’t think he will ever be back to his pre injury ability. Maybe he can because he is so young but I believe this injury completely altered his projected basketball career. This is not new news, he had been doing basketball drills all March. I just hate his career here turned out as bad as it did, though I stand by the hate was uncalled for. He’d have played well before the staff let him come back in December if they allowed him too.

Once the swelling wouldn’t go down even after a light workout I knew he shut it down and said so on this board. All the speculation of him coming back for the tournament were rumors only, but he made a business decision and if I were in his shoes I’d have done the same. He is getting picked round 1 regardless but had he played at 80% in February and March and reinjured it he’d have been off the mocks completely.

No GM will waste a pick on someone that doesn’t play. It would serve him well to come back to UK. Problem with all these picks and 5 stars is shutting it down before the season ends

JQ is everything of the saying blessed with what he was born with, IMO, he's absolutely deplorable as BB player, he can do two things, dunk and rebound, otherwise he's extremely average or below on every other aspect, let the NBADL have him, bye.

This guy is as relevant to me as my cousin's boyfriend I met once at the family reunion. He seemed nice enough, but I never saw him again.

I thought you had inside info that he was going to play again? Did I misinterpret that?
