More than fair, should have dropped further but I didn't check to see how everyone else performed.
We got swept, but legit could have won every game. Baseball voters in general seem to take a much more measured approach and don’t seem to let one weekend swing things too much.
I definitely thought we would have been double digits. Definitely have body of work credit and D1 has always stated that their rankings have a lot to do with where they project us to be as well. I'm sure they expect the ship to correct and the return of McPherson to help
It looks like the top 3 are the standard. Everyone after that has taken turns being ****** from time to time. Currently, GA is a lot like us on the pitching side but if we have McPherson, we are better. Unless we have some guys start hitting SEC pitching better, GA is better on offense. USM is above agerage but for them to be in the top 10 says something about baseball this year.
