I just wanted to highlight his performance last night,

His stuff was off the charts. Every pitch was in the groove.

That’s what you want from him, or any pitcher, for that matter.
I know he has struggled this year, compared to last year, but damn, he didn’t struggle last night.

he is going to be huge for us down the stretch.

I think only one or two of the strikeouts were on 3-2 counts, he was definitely in the zone

Was absolutely on fire. Whatever he had for breakfast yesterday, he needs to keep doing it.

If I’m not mistaken, I believe Walker is only 20, so we get him for another year? His birthday is February.

Yep, believe he will be back in college again next year. Everyone is a free agent every season these days, but don’t think we have to worry about the MLB Draft after his sophomore season.

I’d have to convinced Boaz or Lynch get drafted high enough to go. Especially Lynch being a sophomore with another year of real leverage. (Juniors have no leverage IMO).
I've seen Lynch in the 30s to the 70s on big boards......We know how those work, but that's high enough to go and if he can get the command tighter as the season progresses, then it'll be tough to stay. Boaz I tend to agree, but lefties remain somewhat of a premium. Long way to go this season though....

Agreed, if lynch can get the fastball honed in a little more, and find the slider he has real 1.1 type potential.
