So…is the offense simple or super complicated? Thought it took 3 years to really learn it…
Or was that an excuse that everyone bought because AK technically was under KC for 2 years in Minnesota.
As good as Pat Flaherty was at Rutgers, the OL should be in good hands with Turner.
I’m sure - my comment was a little tongue and cheek - figure because the QB needs to know what everyone is doing and where they are supposed to go…
Trying to remember who you are referencing but I am drawing a blank. I'm sure it's gonna be a duhhhh moment when you mention it.The last Boston coach at Rutgers worked out pretty well….
It is not just where the players need to go. It is making the correct play call or adjustments and understanding all the choice routes that the WRs have. Also the QB has to most likely dictate protections. The center probably identifies the mike and then the QB can adjust that if necessary.
Our Linebackers coach from 22-23? That's like a blip on the radar and I can't remember how we did with that unit back then that would have warranted a comment positive nor negative.
It's a positive comment, he was very good at Rutgers and is now one of the top DCs in college football.
Would be one hell of a DC and possibly Coach in Waiting at Rutgers right about now.
