What an idiot thing to post. Seriously.
Yes, I am watched pro sports, attended many pro games as I have college sports.
You in the pros and do what some of these college players have done, sit out like this, injury prone, half a** effort, they get cut, traded or let go.
College is new to all this with the NIL and now players sitting out, jumping ship when things do not go their way, the difference is in college these players are getting paid without all the contract language that protect pro teams when players underperform, sit non stop, do not make the playoffs and etc.
So yes, players like JJ, Garrison, JQ, Lowe did not perform up to their high dollar contract so they transfer and take all that money with them even though two of them did not earn a dime, instead of working harder and getting better.

You are right, players underperform all the time but with college and NIL, there is no consequence at all. So you think it is OK for JQ and Lowe to come to UK, sign a contract to play but sit out all year and still get paid?
The original poster I quoted and liked said this without publicly bashing these players.

You hire someone to do a job at your house and they get hurt on the way to your house and you expect you owe them?
It is time these players get treated as such.
Some of us call it real life experience.
Pro contracts get paid. If you cut them, you pay them. If they ride pine, they get paid. College, so far, is year to year. Nobody's taking back, or giving anything back for poor performance.

IMO, the only way we have a chance of not being average at best is if we get Stokes.....Or if another tier 1 player decomits from somehwere else and comes. The players we have left, and who probably won't all stay, aren't turning into superstars next season. We won't have upper level talent, barring some incredible turnaround in our luck. Next season could be Kenny Payne-level bad.

Brandon Garrison averaged 10 pts per game at Oklahoma State ..a power 5 school...and we are looking to add a kid from San Francisco (which is not a power five school) who averages around the same amount. We must add players who have averaged at least 16-18 points a game and not add back ups who have not.
Not power 5 but a 3 bid conference (Gonzaga, Santa Clara, St. Mary’s)with a team that blew us out and a team that we were very fortunate to beat in ot in the tourney.

Biggest issue right now, IMO, we are stuck with mediocrity at SF, Pope is kind of backed in a corner, his own doing, though nevertheless, he's going to ride with Chandler-Kam-Hawthorne, which none of three are elite level talent, therefore he will not likely seek a very highly capable SF, he will focus on bigs and combo guards.
Kam Williams is definitely not mediocre and he actually fits popes system

Coach progress has a plan. Jackson state was just raided for all their loot. We will begin sailing into central Arkansas next. The big blue viking ship will be overloaded with players.

I’ll be shocked if we lose less than 12 games next season. I just don’t see much talent coming for
Mark. It could get really ugly.

michigan who lost 3 games this season moves on to play in the national title, a team who brought in 4 new starters. and some folks are worried about losing garrison, lowe, and jasper.....

When Pope spends a few million and puts together his church league team with a less than adequate point guard in addition to a team that can't throw it in the ocean we will be the laughing stock on ESPN on a weekly basis.
