"You only like your team when their good.", what? Fans criticize when the team sucks, in hopes of improvement, they cheer when winning, do you know what a fan is? It's not blindly saying "go team". And FYI, I wanted Cal gone in 2020.
You can criticize but if you continuously say negative after every decision for weeks after, you might as well go elsewhere. I was mad days after it but I think about everything before I run my mouth. Injuries, wrong roster management etc. beating a dead horse for months end claiming to be a fan. Nah

So, you don't like it, so the definition of a fan changes for you? Cool.

People who constantly say crap about pope until he gets fired, isn't. He isn't getting fired and he is still recruiting. The more y'all say whiff, or sucks at recruiting, or anything that isn't factual , is making out fans look bad and our coach. Enough **** goes around on social media it gets to the players, that makes y'all either oblivious, a rival fan or a cal lover. If pope don't do good next year, he will be gone. Until then wait and see, won't happen with miserable people but yeah.

" The more y'all say whiff, or sucks at recruiting, or anything that isn't factual" that is true though, Pope is objectively, a bad recruiter, and he whiffs a lot. Nobody cares about social media, go look at NBA, NFL, and MLB twitter, if you think BBN is bad on twitter.

Two years ago he got a pretty decent team. Last year he got Aberdeen, mo d, and he missed on a couple kids. His freshmen recruiting isn't good now. State of college basketball was more centered around seniors and the portal not freshmen. This year was different. First time in a long run, y'all obsess over freshmen. It's called cds I believe.

He whiffed big last portal cycle as well. He missed on many of his #1 and #2 targets. Donovan Dent, Yaxel, Wilkerson, the kid at SMU, few others I'm forgetting.

Dent stayed out like West was always expecting to. Wilkerson, they hired his coach to get him there. Yaxel we missed on yes and Pierre. Pierre made it to round of 64, Wilkerson missed the tourney. Dent made it same round as us. Yaxel was the big miss. So yeah we missed on people but we got some people too. Yaxel is an *** and hope Arizona demolishes him.

Imagine thinking any Kentucky fan anywhere hates Pope more than they enjoy watching Kentucky win. Those people don’t exist. Pope bashing comes strictly from consistently poor performances. Not because fans actively chose to root against a former player. Wild.

Im actually pretty excited for it. I disliked this team a lot this year, but I am a sucker for documentaries, especially ones that are Kentucky-centric.

He's a well-known recruiting class addict, and without the elite recruiting classes he has nothing to gamble on at the next level.

No but if you look closely at peoples post most of them more than most would have kept cal. It's not everyone but id say a good 60 percent of same folks. No program has fired a coach after a sweet 16 and round of 32. Beating Arkansas, duke, tn four times, everything wasn't awful..I'm just not someone who loves to be miserable, everyday until I get what I want. There are plenty of bandwagon fans who just are fans when things are at a high most duke, UConn fans for instance .

Once was more than enough. I don’t need to relive all those loses and bad coaching again.

Whwn you live of campus with family your focus is not on the team but on yourself.

When during post season your focus as a program is to make documentaries you will be sent home early to make more movies.

It was a strange watch. It was edited as if we ended up being a good team. A lot of talk about “shutting out the noise” and “learning how to love each other”. Didn’t ever really even try to analyze WHY we were so up and down.
I mean the last shot of the documentary was Pope saying “it was a beautiful season of growth”. Idk man. Lol, can’t make that up

It was actually well done. Nothing new or earth shattering, but well done nonetheless. I didn’t plan on watching it, but it’s raining outside.

I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Seems like a likeable bunch off the floor. They didn’t get it done but it wasn’t for lack of effort.

Unless I missed it Dioubate wasn’t really featured. Almost every notable contributor had a segment. Interesting.

It wasn’t terrible and didn’t do recruiting any harm. Didn’t highlight Pope the coach as much as a rah rah guy, which doesn’t help. Great views of campus, living condition, and Aberdeen‘s dog.
Overall a positive I thought.

That quote by Pope would be what I'd use against him n recruiting. Like who wants to play for a coach that babbles like that
