Will be the best player in the portal. But will he leave the state of NC?
Probably not but I never thought certain players would leave teams last year like Williams from Texas Tech. Money talks from here on out until they do something about it.
If we're out on Stokes, we need to drop a blank check in from of Juke. He's a proven commodity too.

I usually don't agree with ultimatums but when you have an offer that's above everyone else you need to demand a yes or no answer so you can move to the next next option if needed

I’ll have to admit, I don’t know much about this guy, but I can tell you this I’d rather have Chris Gettlefinger than Stokes.
Ignorant post again, got Aberdeen from national champ Florida, mo d from a final four team Alabama. Year before Robinson, carr when healthy, brea were all pretty good players, and butler played on championship game...ignorance is showing , yeah he hasn't done great with freshmen but done decent with portal.
Harris is "ok", a good but not a great portal entrant.
He scores 21ppg a lot because of volume 7.5 3's and 7.6 2's attempted per game. He also attempts 7.1 FTs (which is good, the more the better on those). As for his efficiency, he made 55.5% of his 2's which is pretty good (4% higher than Oweh), but made only 33.2% of his 3's (similar to Oweh 33.3%). Given the volume of 3's (2X as many as Oweh) you would prefer he shoot less of those.
I don't get the huge appeal some have of Vaaks? He made 51.7% of his (3.9/gm) 2's, and 35% of his (8.4/gm) 3's. I'm ok adding one or the other, but not both. We need at least 1 guy to be a 40%+ (or at least 38%+) 3pt shooter, and neither of these come close. Now if they did something else really well, like were all-defensive players, then that carries some weight.
Not to mention how ignorant it is suggesting that mid-major players can't be elite players.
There’s only one player higher than Harris at that SG wing position and it’s Pryce Sandfort.
I wish he was our Oweh replacement. I’d rather have him than any high school 5 star. Proven and experienced athlete. Gotta get guys like this to compete at a high level
I prefer Neoklis Avadalas more than Vaaks can play 3 positions and averaged I believe 5 assists a game at 6’9 but would take all 3

He's a borderline first rounder.
He's also entering so you won't get a decision from him until May.
I'd say he's 50/50.
I like Harris' rebound numbers.
Tells me he's an active player who doesn't just stand around and jack up three's.

We aren't getting any top ten portal guys like this. Not happening. Our top guy will be ranked in the 30s. The others 50-150.
We have no chance at top ten portal players or high school they do not want to play for Pope and will not agree to the jmi contract stipulations. Ky fans might as well start accepting reality and stop hoping for a miracle turn around perception of Pope and this screwed up jmi contract it simply isn't gonna happen!!!

All players today are looking for the $$ be they a #1 guy or a #10 guy. The system is broke but I cannot blame the players. Great benefit for the non-NBA types to make some cash before starting their careers.
