Assuming Pope leans more back into his normal offense (year 1), this would be a great get for us. Smaller Amari Williams with more skill on offense.
Uh....No!!! Nothing like Amari Williams, not just 4-5" smaller, but not a good rebounder, doesn't block shots, I see nothing Amari-Williams-like about him.
He's a 6'7 SF who is pretty efficient from 2 (54%), but doesn't shoot 3's well (20% on just 25 attempts), and doesn't rebound (4.0), and on defense averages only 0.8 STOCKs.

All 4 teams in the F4 have euro's on their roster. Many of them see as NBA talent. Why isn't Pope attacking this pipeline?

Dang sorry man. Just saw his stats and assumed he was a decent playmaker for his size.

It seems like every year there is a good offensive player in the portal with a connection to the state of Tennessee that UT may or may not tamper during the season.
He was a graduate transfer. Different rules

I say get him and Byrd and lock people up.
SG: vaterpool
SF: Byrd
PF: Stokes
C: Moreno

would be a pretty great start to a starting five. bring in a PG who can shoot it and its pretty solid. then have chandler, kam williams, and jelavic as your backups. you probably only need a back center at that point.

The big 6'9" guy from VA tech looks pretty good
Can handle the ball, pass and score
Play him at forward along with a couple of scoring guards, would be hard to keep from scoring

If I had to bet today, I would say NBA bound.
I'd agree. He's a ridiculous athlete.

Everyone is this place salivates at every decent transfer in the portal, like a bunch of hyenna hoping hoarding all the transfers will equate to something positive. More than anything, you need a "plan" when you roster build. This is something Pope had none of this past year. The whole spacing thing is also going away, so I hope Pope caught notice. Look at what is going on in the top 5-6 teams this year - really great dominant front courts. Zona, Michigan, Duke, Florida, Illinois. Uconn has Reed. Put your money in places where you can build consistency. The soft 5 out bologna is out and the top teams are investing in dominating the paint.

Would love Bidunga at the 4 paired with a really good 5. Get a really great shooter at the 3. Own the glass.

Last thing we need is hoarding a bunch of pieces without knowing how they'll be used.

Agree with you on the comparison but I will say Amari Williams didn’t really block shots. Didn’t even have his arms up half the time. I appreciated a lot of what he did but protecting the rim wasn’t one of them.
