MIKE DAVIS: This New York Times story is pretty damning for ActBlue. It cites internal memos between ActBlue and Covington & Burling warning of potential criminal misconduct tied to how foreign donations were handled. It also raises evidence that the leader of ActBlue provided false testimony to Congress in 2023. I imagine this will turn into criminal indictments by the DOJ.

One corrupt AG down, two major clowns (Patel & Drunk Pete) to go but hey, it's a start.

Trump definitely doesn't need to be taking this 🤡 advise.

Secretary Hegseth has been capturing and killing Jefferies and the Democrats allies. So obviously they wants him gone.

Pete Hegseth for Attorney General and Secretary of War. Holding some trials at GITMO for treason sounds like a good plan to me.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has asked Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George to step down and take immediate retirement, sources familiar with the decision told CBS News.

One of the sources said Hegseth wants someone in the role who will implement President Trump and Hegseth's vision for the Army.

A senior Defense Department official told CBS News, "We are grateful for his service, but it was time for a leadership change in the Army."

George previously served as the senior military assistant to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin from 2021-2022, during the Biden administration, after decades of service. A career infantry officer and West Point graduate, George first served in the first Gulf War and the more recent conflicts of Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Army chief of staff typically serves a four-year term. George was nominated for the position by President Joe Biden and confirmed by the Senate in 2023, meaning he would typically have held the position until 2027.

The current vice chief of staff of the Army, Gen. Christopher LaNeve, who was formerly Hegseth's military aide, will be acting Army chief of staff. He previously served as the commanding general of the Army's 82nd Airborne Division from 2022 to 2023.

McCabe sounds nervous.

"McCabe emphatically declared at the invite-only gathering with raised voice: **** Flynn and then we **** Trump".

A mostly peaceful job transfer? Unlike Trump’s first term the bench is deeper this time. I thank her for her service. Let's see what the new AG can get done now.
Ive never made a big deal of a president's cabinet moving on for what ever reason. I dont know the actual reason and most likely Noone but the inner circle does. Could be moving chess peice or she is tired and needs something different, could be a disagreement....
No matter the reason it seems peaceful

She could have done some things better and she did some other things really well. Whoever Trump picks the Democrats won't vote for and some in right-wing media will complain too. He will pick who he wants and he has several good options. I thank her for her service as I'm confident they are departing on good terms. Next batter up.

I have to be honest, I'm not really sorry to see her go. I was never a big fan (I called her "Blondie Pam Bondi") because she just came across to me as weak and not a strong prosecutor.

I didn't think she was incompetent, but she was ineffective IMO. Hope her replacement is more aggressive going after the known corruption in the Obama/Biden criminal syndicate.

That's fine but she still did some really good things and there are grand jury's working right now. So let's agree she was better than Garland and the last several Attorney Generals.
