There’s a few that will complain about anything.

It does seem a little out of place considering we haven’t gotten a commitment in a year and it’s a 4 star guy. Add to the fact that most teams have already wrapped up their high school recruiting for the most part. But hey, we have to start somewhere I guess. Better late than never.

No, but he might. I hope not but I've said all along that I think the very top recruits SHOULD wait until the last minute. Why would he not wait? An auction doesn't get good until it's down to the last two people. I see NIL the same way for the elite guys.

No ****, nostradumbass. Half this roster will transfer and we are losing our 2 best players.
I’m talking about needle moving pickups not just random portal pieces to field a team. I’m 100% sure Pope isn’t the future or the answer to bringing us back to prominence but he will have his best team next year. That may buy him the ability to finish his contract before we move on to the next coach. We will be preseason top 10 and in the running to win the SEC. We are involved with some big time portal pickups and the fan base will be happy. Too early to tell exactly who we end up with but it won’t be a mixing pot of role players, there are studs included.
