Its bizarre but the 2019 masters win gets more legendary considering how insane his life outside the course has been after his prime run

I’m so tired of the up and down soap opera drama-fest that is this guy’s life.
He’s a legend of sport, everything he does is news. He didn’t ask for it to be plastered everywhere 24/7. He has made a lot of mistakes over his life, but I don’t see how that makes him a POS. Millions of people everyday shouldn’t get behind the wheel of a car, it doesn’t make it right but it doesn’t make them horrid people either.

True, but when you jeopardize the lives of others because you’re an idiot, it just pissed people off.

Yeah I understand that. But suspicion of DUI, isn’t 100% DUI no alcohol in his system. They may end up getting him on his medications, but I drive on levels on painkillers that most would consider insane, but they don’t affect me in motor skills compared to 95% of the population because of my ridiculous tolerance level. My main point was people saying he’s a POS. For what? Cheating on his wife? And the one time he was high asleep in his car? It makes him human to me. Certainly not the worst of society.

He’s just not a very good person and, despite his Stanford education, apparently not a very smart one either. Loved watching the guy play golf during his prime but do not get the hero worship.
There are a not-insignificant percentage of admissions in elite universities that are solely based on legacy and value of having said legacy. Most of the legacies would probably not make it on academic quals. Unis need the legacy kids to maintain the endowment -- it's a business model.

I vaguely remember one night smoking weed with Meg Whitman's kid. He had his own plush pad after he was booted from campus for being an insufferable ***. He was not a brilliant Einstein.

Not saying it applies to Tiger, but rather the point is that not everyone in an elite university is (at least intellectually) elite.

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out legally. The sheriff indicated that Woods appeared intoxicated, but he refused a urinalysis and blew .000 on the breathalyzer. I gather that Woods will lose his license, but I'd wager a good defense lawyer would chomp at that DUI charge. I'd have him screened for concussion right away.
