Right, that’s ridiculous at this point in the season. Mike Rooney and Chris Burke(D1 Baseball) predicted GT, Fl State and UVA to Omaha. I should say they did that as part of their daily podcast.

State's RPI will go up significantly if they can just find a way to win one game at GT. Their non-conf schedule was awful but it'll be balanced out by conference play. Will be extremely difficult for them to get to a host spot though.
It's really irresponsible scheduling by Avent. 3 weekends of no-win games and they happened to lose a couple of those. People here complained about one series like that.

Yea, I couldn’t handle either. Even though their fans weren’t nearly as insufferable as the West Virginia fans were, it was still too stressful. I don’t want any SEC schools in our bracket.

I'd have to imagine State is waaaaaaay closer to being out of the tournament than being a 2 seed. This does not paint a pretty picture (as funny as it may be)...
State pounded Notre Dame last night.look they won a series from BC including beating the guy who just shut us down and lost series at FSU and GA tech . If we had played those 9 games what would our record look like in ACC play? Meanwhile LVille gets smoked by Dook and GA tech beats Cal 17 to 3 . We have series wins over 3 teams but state would most likely win those series as well. Lot of baseball left but we need this BC series.
State beating ND 7-3 is not a pounding and Louisville losing to dook 6-3 is not getting smoked. State did not face Radel for ND, that happens tonight. State's overall record against the schedule they've played says they've been a little above average up to this point.
But my point was if we had hosted BC ( who my have there best team ever? ) and travelled to FSU and GA Tech where would we stand entering the weekend?
You play who you play. In baseball, you can't speculate. As far as NCSUX goes, the more they lose the better. It won't matter when we play because that's just the way rivalry games go. Same with DOOK. If we ever start hitting with RISP, we'll be fine. Every team has an ace. See ND and BC. Let's see how the rest of the BC series goes.
Well state won again vs ND and Dook came from behind to beat LVille again so they are going for sweeps today. I think state ends up safely in the tournament as projected as their first 9 ACC games were brutal.
State sweeps ND and it appears the Clemson series was just one where it was there weekend? Dook can't sweep LVille and Clemson drops game two and Stanford blowing a 3 run lead in the 8 th . The Clemson series is going be scary. That team has a lot of talent and has just not put it together and they be fighting for the season when Carolina comes to Tiger town .
