It was one hell of a ride for the boys this year, and it was fun to watch. We went cold at the worst possible time, I was concerned watching the officiating, and with us not being able to separate… Io_a seems to always play spoiler to us no matter what… Congrats to them, but man yall play dirty and get away with it… but it still required yall to hit shots when it counted and ya did… I look forward to what we can do with the portal this offseason. Hope we can get some dudes in there, we definitely need someone that can create lanes and open shots for our shooters though.

Tough with a couple of non scorers out there. Cale did have a wide open 3 that is usually an okay shot for us.
They have really good length and had 4 guys on the floor most of the time who were hot from 3. Sam started cold. Mast couldn’t make one. Jacobsen missed 3 open 3s I think Berke. Nope. They contained Sandfort.
It definitely made a difference. And it was bad.
But the moment we lost the game was when we didn't have 5 players on the floor for that inbounds play. That's inexcusable.

Hurts to lose this game because it's Iowa but N clearly has more holes than they do. Great season for the Huskers and if they can land a real PG and a BiG they'll be competing again next year. Like I've said all season N needs to be able to finish at the rim so when those 3's aren't falling they can extend games by getting teams in foul trouble. Mast is not a 5 he's a 4 and needs help inside.
Being able to complain about a sweet 16 loss is a hell of a nice thing to be upset about. Hell of a season and it might be program changing. If its not then we are used to it. Fun season

Cale actually played well tonight, as did Berke. The issue was Sam and Rienk were cold all night. That was the difference. Rienk looked out of gas.
This. It was a great year. And Fred blinked in the bright lights tonight. Dumb D. Dumb 1-3-1 zone at the end of the half. Wouldn’t sit Sam when he was having a bad game. JL barely played the last 10 mins. And to top it off—4 defenders on the court when the game is still up for grabs. How does that HAPPEN—in the freaking sweet 16. I’d expect that from Rhule. Just pathetic that one coach didn’t catch it. I feel bad for the players—they deserved better coaching tonight.
