I cannot find hardly a single Uk fan anywhere near Lexington that believes Mark Pope is the guy. He’s just Fos and trying to find something to say. This will end next season and they’ll have to make the hire that makes sense. Every program has highs and lows, we just don’t have them as much as others. Every great organization has down periods, we’re in one but we’ll get it back.

The fact that he went from “BBN is great” to “well 99% are great” tells you he hears it and knows. It’s damage control. Did the boos reining down on Pope this season feel like 1%?

This guy is turning into a real disaster. It was one thing to suck *** this year.. it's another thing to be delusional, downplay it, try and pull Calipari into this to cover your butt. On top of that, we're hearing that JMI really wasn't as big of a blocker as we thought.

Hard to fire a coach mid-season in college basketball. But I think you're gonna see that come February, when we are out of the tournament, that the new AD and Boosters won't be putting this job back on the market, scanning the field for who the next top coaching candidates are. That's what should be done for this upcoming season: prep for 2027, help Pope box up his belongings.

I don't think you understand the word sane, because the way you behave is the exact opposite. You're IQ is extremely low because you think criticism equates to "I hate positivity." Ignoring the the bad and thinking everything is okay is called Toxic Positivity.

Not gonna lie -- I thought he was a decent coach. The repeat failures this year and the inability to correct the most basic of mistakes disillusioned me.

Last year's moderate success was, in hindsight, a product of super seniors who knew what they were doing and could not be messed up by the staff (see: Johnson, Jasper for an example of the opposite), led by a rock solid Final Four PG, and Kobe Brea and others having shooting ability and prone to insane hot streaks. The Dope didn't teach any of that.

Unlike you, I don’t know or care about any other BB programs. Kentucky bb is it and now is not the time to be PASSIVE and just hope for the

best. Collectively those 11 players placed us in the LOWER HALF of the SEC. Pope needs to move most of them OUT. That’s just reality.
