What happens to this board if Arkansas beats Arizona?

lol at those who’ve acted like cal stole their woman the last 4 years pretending nothing would happen.

it would be a complete meltdown. And a lot of people convincing themselves they don’t care. À la the replies above.

No. He has a good team. I still wouldn't want him back under any circumstances. It doesn't have to be Cal or Pope. It SHOULD be Cal or Oats, Cal or Dusty May, Cal or Golden, Cal or Mccasland, Cal or Otzelberger, Cal or Byington, Cal or Bruce Pearl, Cal or.......

Then I would root for the Texas Purdue winner on Saturday. If they won that game whoever they faced in the final four, and again whoever they faced in the title game. If he won the whole thing then good for Arkansas. I won't root for them ever, but it is not like teams I rooted against have not won the tourney before.

I wouldn't like it, but I won't lose sleep over it.

I also don't want to see Duke, UConn, Michigan, Michigan St., Purdue, Tennessee, or Alabama win.

I'll be pulling for upsets.. Texas, Iowa, and St. John's.

After the past 5 or 6 years, if someone still lives and dies with this stuff, then they truly have no life.

I had to take a step back emotionally.

I'd prefer Arkansas to lose, but I'm not THAT worried about it.
I see your point and agree to a degree, depending on the person, but not everyone is built the same. You had to take a step back emotionally. I have not. Not one inch. I still live and breathe it and I have a full life. But like I said, I see your point.

Cal needed a change; he had been phoning it in at UK for years. I fully expected him to do well at Arkansas but it doesn't matter to me either way. Cal can win it all or flame out and it doesn't affect UK at all.

Except for 2012, Cal has always found a way to lose the big game. Why would that change now? Anybody can beat anybody on a given day but Cal can always find a way lose.

I think Cal is going to the Final Four and several here will be committed to padded rooms and placed on self unalive watch.

The bracket in both tournaments opened right up for Cal this year. He’s in his second year and is a 4-seed with a 1 seed in his way, kind of like 2011.

If this does happen, BBN is about to get our collective noses rubbed in it from all corners of the national media.

Hope I am wrong.

Arizona will be a tough match up for them. But if Thomas and Acuff hit some shots, then I could see them getting by them. Should be a really fun game to watch. I'm looking forward to it.

Who cares, this board has been in meltdown mode for the last 5-7 years.
As a matter of fact the board melted down so much it is no more. This is a forum for all things Uk. We went from several forums to 1. I can see why the president is stressing about money. He knows the bottoms about the fall out. fans are finished in one way or another. Everybody I know is a Kentucky fan has given up something whether there’s merchandise tickets watching games rushing home to watch a game whatever they’re done. I just thought that I mean what’s here on this form is the die hard of the die hard and now we’re starting to be censored because are pathetic, athletic department and president wanna shove down our throat this coach and make us accept everything that he brings. It’s a disgusting move on so many levels I mean, it really does mirror what’s going on in politics these days no matter what party you’re you’re in I think we can all agree that it’s become a destructive force in the current world we live in. In my opinion, it should be all gloves off. I think we need to discuss everything not just what the university or the owners of this website want us to discuss that’s what’s been going on with UK sports now for the last 25 years you’re gonna talk about what we want you to talk about and if you don’t talk about that, we’re gonna ban you.

It doesn't matter. Because he was never doing any of that here. The boosters were not giving him any NIL.
He did not need anymore NIL money. He had potential one of the best recruiting classes ever without the NIL money. NIL money was not his issue.

Would we melt down if Cal gets to the elite 8? This is a nightmare.

Who gives a shite. We all know Cal got his groove back when he left, what does that have to do with this program. We're not in the tournament currently, I'd say that is what most fans would care about

This board would be comedy gold if Calipari made the Final 4.
I am curious how you think this board will respond considering Mitch was crucified for the so-called life-time contract and most of the board was screaming for Cal to be fired?

NIL money to get fringe guys to return. That's what he's doing at Arkansas. Guys like Wagner and Karter Knox would have been gone if he was here. That killed Calipari. Losing the fringe guys to the 2nd round.

Tommy Lloyd will be taken off the list, Cal will rise.

Because that is the criteria for UK fans. Who is in right this very second!

Then when Cal gets beat he’ll drop back down and whoever beat him will be the leader in the club house!

I feel the rivalry with every SEC team during the season. When NCAA tournament starts, I pull for every SEC team to advance. Arizona should beat Arkansas but I will pull for Arkansas. I will also pull for Texas , Bama and Tennessee.

I am rooting for Texas. I am rooting against Cal and Nate Oats. I wouldn't root for Tennessee unless they were playing Satan.

We have bigger fish to fry… Calipari is doing his thing, UNC is about to grab a coach UK should have hired, and Kansas is knocking on the coaching door next.

If UK would have simply taken care of business instead of hiring Pope, we wouldn’t need to worry or care about all this other noise!

So like I said, we have greater things to deal with, but it’s going to get exponentially more complicated before it gets better, so if that bothers some of you, my suggestion would be, don’t watch next season’s games because shite is about to get uglier than we have ever seen it at UK before.
