Dammit thought for min it was our Mo(e) Williams when saw it earlier on FB..
Idc what the star rankings are if we get back to winning and being a great basketball program again4 star U
Plus it's not like Pope has killed it in the portal either. We miss out on top targets there also.I think people for the most part are worried. For 15 years, we always had one of the top ranked classes in the country and now the program is striking out on all of the main kids they recruit.
You’re wrong about Chuck Hayes. He was an all American in high school. Was Mr Basketball in California and picked Uk over Kansas back then.
Did I hurt your little feelings. I just call it like I see it!Why don’t you learn how to read? There’s at least 5 post in this thread slandering this kid and/or our coach.
At this point his best options are to find a few assistants that are known for player development. He’s not going to recruit like we are all used to, so that would be his best strategy. Find guys with potential that fit his system and mold them into fitting his style of play. I still don’t see that being good enough here, but that’s his best strategy to win at this point.Plus it's not like Pope has killed it in the portal either. We miss out on top targets there also.
Are you kidding me you've made at least 10 posts worse than that since you've been on boardOne of the most ignorant, uninformed posts I've read.
"Beyond the top 10 there’s usually not a difference in talent between 25-100." Yeah...
If we just had a good coach it wouldn’t be like thisThe collective Eeyore complex around here is wild.
I don’t think anyone is really trying to knock Williams, just that we don’t see pope being able to develop him. Kid has potentialExactly. Knocking this kid is nonsense
Booker was a 4 too.SGA says hi to the naysayers.
He’s not my coach. Why don’t you learn how to read? There’s at least 5 post in this thread slandering this kid and/or our coach.
Haha, his dad is a better coach and recruiter than Pope! Pope could be Mo’s “analytics” guy!His dad was a good player and could score
Can't see him playing for anyone but his dad, so hire his dad too
In Pope’s defense, he’s batting .000 on 5* prospects, so he’s naturally doing what he should be doing, starting a Whiff streak on the 4*’s now.Yes a 4 star PG.... Next we'll bring in a 2 or 3 star PG ..... Can Pope just please get the **** out of here....
No, only the sensitive types like yourself are bothered by the “comments”We have some of the most obnoxious and ignorant fans in the country. This kid is a player…. And he’s probably reading all of your comments.
Nice shooting form
He’s doing something right cuz he has good stats and really good shooting splitsHe doesn’t show much speed or explosiveness in that clip. Which surprises me a bit, because his dad was a jet.
I wasn’t really trying to knock him…I agree that his shot looks real nice. I was just making an observation, in his clips he looks kinda slow for a PG …unlike his dad who I recall being blazing fast. He’s doing something right cuz he has good stats and really good shooting splits
What was Yaxel Lendeborg ranked coming out of highschool? He wasn't ranked. What was Walter Clayton Jr ranked? He was a 3 star.Yes a 4 star PG.... Next we'll bring in a 2 or 3 star PG ..... Can Pope just please get the **** out of here....
If the kid has the desire, he will improve on his ownI don’t think anyone is really trying to knock Williams, just that we don’t see pope being able to develop him. Kid has potential
I understand that not every 4 star is going to suck I get that we have had our share over the years of good 2 star, 3 star , and 4 star players. You have 2 things that come into play when recruiting these lower ranked players. What was Yaxel Lendeborg ranked coming out of highschool? He wasn't ranked. What was Walter Clayton Jr ranked? He was a 3 star.
Nice shooting form
Nice stats. 3.5 steals ?! Sheesh
See above post from earlier in the threadWhat are his stats?
In the state tourney game video he did not look that tall. But, looking at the picture, if Mo is a legit 6’1”, he appears to be 6-2.
