No joke I wondered if Pope might to help with the nostalgia stuff he has been harping on since he got the job. Pelphrey did come to a couple games this season

Pel was actually a pretty good assistant coach in his day. He never made it as a HC, but you could probably do worse. There's already a bench full of worse coaches already sitting there while Pope shakes his head and squints.
Derrick Miller can be head of ticket sales and distribution.
I don't ever want to hear about a former player coaching here unless they have a PROVEN track record. I don't care if they are from Kentucky, played high school in Kentucky. If they are not a good player, don't want them. If they don't have a top notch coaching record, don't want them.
