I'll take it a step further. Pope was immediately evaluating him as a scholarship starter.IKR, Pope didn't even notice. He's so goofy and clueless.

Will, did you read my post?I'll take it a step further. Pope was immediately evaluating him as a scholarship starter.![]()
Same thing happened to Chris Harrison. SUPERSTAR at Tollesboro High School. Simply couldn't miss, hit from everywhere. Gets to UK and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.I thought this was pretty funny. I think the BYU players didn’t have a clue even after Jimmer revealed himself who he was. I don’t understand how he didn’t make it in the league, one of the best pure shooters I’ve ever seen.
Jimmer did it in college, and overseas put up crazy numbers. Big difference between those 2Same thing happened to Chris Harrison. SUPERSTAR at Tollesboro High School. Simply couldn't miss, hit from everywhere. Gets to UK and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.
I guess it depends on what you mean by “make it”. 241 NBA games over 6 seasons is a lot more than a lot of college stars get, and him being a career 37% shooter from 3 is definitely what enabled that.I don’t understand how he didn’t make it in the league, one of the best pure shooters I’ve ever seen.

Post this garbage on a BYU message board. This is the equivalent of Arkansas fans "adopting" our former players, but WAY more embarrassing and almost depressing.
He might not have been a star, but he lasted 6 seasons in the league, averaged 6PPG across 241 G. That's well over 1k points scored in the NBA. I doubt the Dope's entire alumni, past, present, and future combined, comes close to 1k NBA points. Probably doesn't even come close to 100.I thought this was pretty funny. I have commented three times. None of them have to do with Mark Pope doing a good job or trolling. I cannot be the only one — fatigued of so many mentions of BYU. This is from a BYU account posting about the BYU program and a BYU almun? You’re one of the posters that said yes to Pope doing a good job. I can’t imagine how lonely and depressed you have to be to troll a MB. Possible serial killer?
You gonna cry? Simple, don’t click on the post!Post this garbage on a BYU message board. This is the equivalent of Arkansas fans "adopting" our former players, but WAY more embarrassing and almost depressing.
Quitance will have 100 blocks or rebounds, before he hits 100 points, that much I can guarantee! He might not have been a star, but he lasted 6 seasons in the league, averaged 6PPG across 241 G.
