As you know, AI has its issues, so this may not be completely accurate, but the gist is. I don't have the time to fact-check, which is why I used AI in the first place.

Per ChatGPT

Here are the actual historical results for the game immediately following a win over a #1 seed in the men’s NCAA tournament (modern era, since seeding began in 1979):

📊 Record in the next game

  • Wins: 5
  • Losses: 20
📈 Win percentage
  • 20% win rate
  • 80% loss rate
🎯 Bottom line

Teams that beat a #1 seed:

GO BIG RED! **** Iowa!

Yep, I think they’re gonna be emotionally exhausted after that game. I don’t think they can recover. It really hit them in the feels

If they had to play tomorrow I could see it but they have 3 days recovering but they did use a lot of energy trying to stop Florida in the paint majority of the night.

That herky kid that hit the winning shot rarely makes perimeter shots and made two all night.

Koch and Banks are the two that concern me.

Their coach is great, I love that he just doesn't buy into the "Oh my players need to rest" BS that so many coaches do. Those guys are in the best shape of their lives, they are not tired.

It is nuts to think that either NU or Iowa will make the EE.

It is also awesome to see that the jays are a total ******* losery team. :)

You can ask AI whatever you want but the game will be played on the court. They beat us in Iowa City and we beat them in OT in Lincoln.

Lawrence hits his Free Throws it wouldn’t have never went into OVT.
And in that Vandy game there was a jump in the level of play we hadn't seen in the last month of the season. I know it was close but everyone had a little extra in them it felt like. I think going against someone you have seen twice and feel like you underperformed during the games will be just a bit more added juice. They seem to be pretty damn cocky... I like when someone thinks they are going to own us. Go ahead and underestimate us or think less of us... but don't be surprised when we are suddenly on a 10-0 run.

IF not for TWO awful officiating blunders we beat them in Iowa City. The illegal screen on Mast was incredible homerism. HOPEFULLY we’re the tourney darlings and get our fair share of calls. We should get a fair shake unlike what we got in Iowa City.

Exactly. Iowa blew their load beating Florida. Nebraska should roll into the Elite Eight.
