EDIT: I don’t think you even know what you’re talking about. When Cal was hired at UMass, Pitino wasn’t even at Providence.

Once again, this is not college basketball or sports anymore, for that matter. This is just a glorified NBA G League. Sorry, it is just what it has become. Whole new rosters almost yearly, getting contracts, and just load managing for the NBA is what it is.

If anything he’s said in the last few years are close to true, I'm not sure about that. I believe he loves Kentucky and regrets leaving so bad he’d jump on it. He could end his career here, Retire as the king of Kentucky and live out his days happy. What else would anyone want? Who knows. lol.

Rick Pitinos return to Kentucky to finish off his career would be perfect!
The story line around it would attract good players along with NIL. He would coach for 4 to 5 years and get us back to the final four then retire.
