Why does it feel like we're one helmet-to-helmet call from having this game taken away from us?
nice to have the lead but so many missed opportunities to make threes and fts against a team thats not going to play this bad 2nd half. Also jirak stepping in lane cost us 2 points.
If you told any of us that we would be up 2 on Florida at half I think we all would say...

That is the most gritty, impressive, tough-minded half of basketball I’ve seen from the Hawks in some time.
Leading at half against a #1 seed that is essentially a home game for them in a very physical game where the refs are doing us no favors. Not to mention we’re ice cold from 3 point land.

Hawks were able to generate stops for 7 minutes, but after the scuffle, Florida has matched our physicality. Can't afford to make this a shootout. They're keying on Bennett and will continue to do so, so everyone else needs to step up. Banks is playing his best game of the year today.
