Never seen so many turnovers, we are gettings no calls but Ky cannot even take care of the ball and Pope seems to be lost.

But unfortunately we will have to endure a third year. That is if anyone wants to come and play for him.
It's like watching your parent get remarried to a person you know is bad for them. You can only sit there and watch and bite your tongue, knowing you're going to have to endure.

Our program is in horrible hands. I'm sick of people treating the UK coaching job like it's a Make a Wish job just because Pope is a decent guy.

You hire people to perform, not to "maybe kinda figure it out someday."

Boys this isn’t hard. There’s is one thing an one thing only that changed this game an it’s simply Iowa St extending the defense on the ball to pressure our guys into turnovers…simple as that.

and all we have to do to fix it is space the floor (forget the high ball screen and open the floor) and start attacking off the dribble and make them pay for that pressure.
Instead we’re still trying to run offense 30 feet from the basket and vs king up on the dribble like pure scared victims

Popes message should be nothing but ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!!!!! We do that and we’ll get buckets or fouls or out backs and lobs all day and break these guys

We keep backing up and hunkering down like we’re scared to dribble a ball and we’ll lose by 30

If the ref aren’t going to call a T when a player blatantly kicks a ball in front of them, I don’t know what a coach can even do.
Cool, more leeway for yelling and naughty words. Pope needs to force a change and not sit back. These refs are like some kids. You have to yell sometimes to kick them in to gear.

No adjustments for the double team. Way too many turnovers as a result. This was a game we should have won with any type of offensive coaching.

I sure wish the UK coaching staff would have know about ISU's defensive pressure. SMH!

If Iowa St keeps shooting like they did then we have a very good chance to win.

Just stop turning it over so much.

If they make shots then it’s over.

What praise would you have liked them to have said? Iowa St is shooting the worst they have all season, without their starter and are winning.
Well how about why they're shooting bad? Instead of our defense throwing them off their game on threes, they say it's because they're missing their best player.

Are we really trying to say that the reason Iowa State is shooting poorly is because they're just off?

I really don’t want to hear how smart pope is or how good of a coach he is. He’s a dumb MF first and foremost as he hasn’t learned a damn thing about his team all year long. Same dumbass sub patterns over and over and he can’t coach for ****. Any coach worth their salt would have solved this half court trapping defense we are facing after two possessions but we haven’t done jack **** but hope we don’t turn the ball over.

MB just made a quick hire and it has cost us. Certainly glad Drew turned it down but come on, Pope? I don't care if that he played here. UK deserves a winner.

It seems like every Jasper cameo over the last month has been a complete trainwreck.

I’m screaming for somebody to come to meet the ball.
their defense is covering that too. they watched film and know we dont have a PG, and no one we have left is quick and strong with the ball. they are pressuring whoever comes across halfcourt with the ball, and they always pick up their dribble. from that point they are cutting off passing lanes. even if we manage to get into the tired dribble handoff set with a center, they're ready for that too. most teams even in the SEC have played passively against us, even Florida. This reminds me of the Arkansas game last year, they see our deficiency and are exploiting it.

ISU won't continue to shoot so poorly in the 2nd half. Maybe we can stop turning it over at an alarming rate to balance that out.

Yeah u have to imagine they shoot it better next half.

Hopefully like u said we limit the turnovers and also the boards to cancel that out a bit.

Listen I am ready to move on from pope. But the refs called four fouls in a row on nothing when we got up. It changed the game. Guy kicked the ball into the stands and gets to apologize for it. On pace for a 30-6 ft discrepancy. Cmon.

Rebounds are even 18-18, the TOs is why we trail by 1. Have to clean it up but we win this game.
We ball watch on offense, nobody even tries to get into rebounding position.
Two times rebounds slipped out of our hands and they got 3's out of them.
