Why waste your time on something that doesn’t provide happiness? I often look at other fanbases and wonder how they can keep going year after year knowing there’s no hope.
It’s worse when expectations high. You’re going to find out most fans are “fair-weather” if they don’t keep their end of the contract. Sports is a business. You have to earn their business.
People who blindly support a team are not thinking logically. Arguably there’s nothing logical about sports to begin with. But people who are legitimately miserable year after year like most folks on here would probably be told by their hypothetical therapist to stop consuming.
