Mendez goes down and that clinches a 4th place trophy for Iowa
Just wow. Hodge voters gonna have a pickle after Mikey wins.
Boy, talk about shitting the bed this year with Tan Tom's crew at NCAAs. How much below seed did they wrestle as a group?
Have any of their guys finished with a win? Cannon got smoked, Kharcla lost, Mendez just lost. Did Gallagher lose?
There is one. But it’s was started by someone who many likely have blocked. And the subject line is dumb.
They peaked in November. Everyone knew it. Horrible miscalculation.
Gallagher lost to his former HS and College teammate Hepner
Van ness seemed vulnerable at times in the tourney, Valencia pushed him hard the entire match
If that's not a takedown I have no idea what is anymore.
what a fking beast. dude had no fear and took it too him
Thank god they got it right. Grabbing an ankle doesn’t equal an automatic no takedown should be given
That was a great match. Way to go Valencia.
Thank goodness. If they reversed that, wrestling would have put a foot in the grave. If they call it, unlike like Duke’s yesterday, they have to give it.
Great match! Now transfer to Iowa to be with your sister
I agree with Ironside on the Valencia TD, Angel should've let that play out for a few more seconds to avoid a challenge.
Either way that kid was damn impressive in this tournament. Congrats to him! He brung it.

Damn, onions! That was impressive on many fonts.
At what point do we just wrestle with a little bit of blood
Did Taylor just throw his straps at him at the end?
Starting to feel like 21. Iowa won it but PSU was the story with freshman champs.
Sure wish we made a run at DT…
Come on Mikey. You know what you have to do. Going to take a big move for the pin.
Or last year when Penn State broke scoring record, Carter won his fifth but Hendrickson upsetting Gable was the big story
I didn't want Taylor to win, but those were bogus stall calls against him.
Robideau fired off a shot within the first 5 sec and Taylor battled that single attempt for over 60 seconds with amazing defense.
After the stalemate Robideau takes another then he's instantly dinged?
And then there in the 3rd what's he supposed to do? He defended that exactly how he would in the center.
The refs have collectively been really really bad this entire weekend.
