Do you expect Michigan or Duke to be in jeopardy today?

I think Michigan could be, Saint Louis shoots 40% from 3 as a team. They have enough offense. What the Billikens did to UGA can't be dismissed as luck or a bad game from UGA. Saint Louis dominated them.

Duke might get Ngongba back. Punch is a nice player, but I don't thnk TCU has the offense to beat a very good defensive Duke team.

Thoughts?

I doubt it. SLU may make it interesting for a little bit but I think both win by 12+

TCU has some big physical wings that can drive and shoot.
If Ngongba isn’t back I think Duke will be in another battle. The only impactful guy off the bench is the white floppy dude. Cayden boozer had his best game of the year in first round. It is not likely he does that again.
I could see TCU having a chance late in the game.

I watched every second of the SLU/UGA game. That was NO fluke. They beat the doors off of what I thought was a pretty decent Georgia team. Not world-beaters by any stretch, but decent.

I expect UM to win today, but I could easily see them getting all they wanted from SLU. I expect Michigan to put up a better defensive effort than Georgia though. I do however think that 11.5 point spread is a bit large. Having said all that, I’m sure UM will win by 30.

Random factoid from the Eye on College Basketball podcast… No team that trailed at halftime in their first game ever won the NCAA tournament. So Duke has that working against them. As good as Cayden Boozer has been since taking over starting duties, I think if/when they lose it will be largely due to a bad game from him. However I don’t think TCU is that team, especially after the Siena scare in round 1.

SLU will wake up today and realize it’s duke so I don’t expect them to play that free again. I’m still mad that Georgia didn’t play Iike the splash bothers vs them like they did at rupp.

Neither has a chance of losing imo. I believe thursdays game will serve as a wake up call for Duke and they won’t be threatened until about the final 8 round when they play a team closer to their level.

I think Duke will struggle every game they play here on out without their Point Guard. That is a huge loss for them and will ultimately cost them a possible Natty.
