Right now, I m a Lehigh fan ... might help with our chances at the Hodge. I knew Danny and if he had his choice, I think he'd take Barr.
So did he, but says he knew he wouldn't get it because the power of the brick in that corner is something different. Not using quotes because I need to listen back to it but that's darn close to what he said if not exactly, which I'm sure no one will have any opinions on.
That takedown mendez just got is what he has to do tomorrow night. Vega can't scramble out of that. No one can.
Marcus needed more of that though. More legit attempts may have earned that second stall call.
Blaze reminds me alot of RBY, first year had great technique but just needed to add alittle stregth. Remember Desanto hossed him around the first year, then RBY added a little bulk and handled Desanto from there on out.
Damn, Stanich wrestled tough; too bad about the outcome.
That Mendez move looked like Nick Lee in OT against Eierman for the 2021 title.
Mendez, no bonus points. MM hodge wrapped up if he wins out
Hodge front runner got negative style points for that one.
Great matches so far. The semis are always my favorite round.

You’re forgetting about his style though. I’m told that’s what separates them really.
If that was a TD then so was Marcus’ in regulation as he had his foot for just as long there…

Now I know why Mendez is so unlikable- he looks just like Billy from Stranger Things!
The guy walking around with the microphone is a hemorrhoid. No sound on so I don’t know what he’s saying, but he seems to be all about himself. Maybe I’m wrong.
I'm kind of surprised to see several of you saying that Davino should have gotten the TD (the one tOSU challenged, and didn't get).
I went back and watched the move about 10 times. As a ref, IMHO, it's not a TD.
The ref on the mat didn't call it a TD on the mat.
Because tOSU threw a brick, the official review was done by an independent panel -- not the refs that were on the mat for the match. That panel looked at, and they have more camera angles than are shown on TV, and they concluded it was not a TD.
I keep trying to help you guys in your analysis of TD attempts, in getting you to look for whether control is established. Davino came close to that, but just for a flash, as Blaze hit a roll just as Davino was close to attaining control, and grabbed Davino's legs. So you don't take a freeze-frame picture (mentally) as a ref, and say control was established for half-a-second, so it's a TD. You look at the big picture, and in that Davino did not establish control, as Blaze rolled through and grabbed a leg, and had that leg when the two were out of bounds.
I really don't think it was that difficult of a call for the ref on the mat or for the review panel.

Fair enough, but Davino had a leg, collected the far ankle and Marcus was on his hip. That’s a TD.

Well his home isn't here anyway. They were recruited to McCruit. He has no ties here.
