I always dreamed in my lifetime of catching UCLA at crap ain’t happening now I just don’t see it giving my agent and that trajectory were on, but I always felt like we would make that run were the program that kind of pops up every decade historically has been more than a decade since we popped up when a title or even get to a final four, Mark Pope was absolutely the worst selection. All of our fan base knew it the night that it happened the night. It leaked if I felt like we had a team that could make a run I would say yes let’s go and yeah when we hit that shot, I was it. It was exciting, but then I started to think with my brain examine that and realize it’s a really crappy Santa Clara team that we just had to hit a miracle shot in the first round to go to overtime. It’s not like that was for an elite eight or for a final four it was exciting and that one moment and now I just want our program to get back to what it was before Barney came in and and screwed it up if you’re Gen X or before you understand millennials I don’t think they get it even ensure there’s some but I’m just speaking in generalities so it’s up to Gen X and what’s left of the baby boomers folks

He started after the ball was handed to our man. Refs, for a change, we're focused on the game.

9 out of 10 times, Shows would've waved off the basket and given the timeout after it went through the net.

Yep, I replayed it multiple times. The other 2 refs were watching the players on the court. What he should have done is turned to the ref who was on the baseline and called timeout. Also, the players should not have been celebrating. They should have been aware that what was going on in the game. They could have also signaled time out or fouled or played some real defense.

Also if you noticed their coach was running toward the ref with his back to the coach to call timeout. He couldn't even see him.

He should ran toward the baseline ref in any event Aberdeen grabbed the ball right away and was ready to inbound.

Also their coach waited a split second after the basket before he started to call for timeout if he had been calling it immediatly maybe they give it to him.

Okay, but isn't the rule that the team that is inbounding has to be out of bounds for it to be too late to call timeout? MJ seems to be saying that as soon as DA had it in his possession, no timeout can be called. Watching the replay, it does seem like he starts calling timeout before DA is out of bounds with the ball. Having said that, it is VERY VERY close!

He can go cry to the same committee that we appealed too when the Roofer screwed us out of two final 4’s and a championship. They take forever to acknowledge and get back to you though. So sorry Herb.

I am seeing contradictory information on when a time out isn't allowed after a made basket. Some are saying once DA grabbed the ball, the opposing team cannot call a time out. Sporting News says that you have to be inbounding the ball and Google also gave me that answer. It really doesn't matter except I am curious!

He has to get the TO before DA touches the ball, he can’t call TO after he gets possession of the ball. All he can do after DA gains possession of the ball is foul to stop the clock. Which would have been smarter than a TO in my opinion.
