Kentucky fans are starting to get confident again like when we beat two midgets in the SEC tournament and thought we were going to win against Florida. Just hope they can keep it close against ISU, that’s all you can really hope for.

After that Auburn Elite 8 game where one of their players being injured gave me confidence in getting back to the Final Four, it’s hard for me to believe anything than one of our best games of the year will get us the win against ISU.
It’s definitely going to take a great game and we need to play tough and together. Hopefully Chandler hit four or five big threes and the team locks down on defense. Rebounding and defense is the key. I think we win 84-78 Cats.

How many games did Mo miss with an ankle injury? Hate that he’s injured but not going to complain about it
I’m sure if there’s anyway possible he’ll play. Untelling what all they’ll have done to get him back but if it’s not broke and he can walk he should go. I would if I could put weight on it. Especially for a chance to make the sweet 16. Who knows how kids think these days. 92 ( playing days),was a long time ago. lol. Lord I’m getting old fellas.

When a top player is out for our opponents these two years, we've lost the game as the opponent rallies and plays with even more urgency and we dont match that until its too late with 7 minutes to go.
Not this time my friend. lol. Hopefully. 🤞

They will hold him out because trying to play him will backfire. I haven’t watched a min of cbb other than our games this season so idk what isu is like but they still will have 5 guys on the floor

Did you mean 84-78? I mean, people do say things like "scored the basket" and my husband asked if we were "still in the playoffs".

Didn't see it, but if it looked pretty bad, it's hard to imagine swelling will go down in a day or two. Then you got mobility issues. I doubt they will risk it, thinking they can beat us without him. Wouldn't be surprised if he was ok for next weekend though, if they advance.

It looked really bad. I can't say for sure as sometimes things aren't as bad as they look but I would be shocked if he is able to go and be effective by Sunday.

Yep. Often you can roll an ankle badly but finish playing without too much discomfort until you get off it and the adrenaline is gone.

This dude couldn't walk immediately after it. I don't think he will play

If...If, we were to beat Iowa St without their best player, we'd face a mediocre UVA to go to the, wait for it...ELITE EIGHT AND LIKELY FACE A TEAM WE'VE BEATEN TWICE! Gotta love March!
Not gonna count my chickens just yet but the path just got easier in our bracket.
I hope that doesn't send some of our "fans" to local bridges or anything like that!
This is the roadblock matchup. Now we can lose to anybody any day, but we have a great bracket if we play well and win Sunday.

We need BG of today, super human Oweh, good solid Aberdeen, rebounding and passing Jelly, and Moreno to get off the bus. Garrison of today would be the biggest IMO. Mo D playing like he did today would be a huge boost. Chandler makes 4-5 3’s would help a ton. It would be great to get Jasper Johnson as few minutes and for him to actually play basketball and have some points not expected. Pope needs to play Kam Williams more, his shooting is much needed and his size is so much better for a team like Iowa State.

Yeah I landed on some Wayne county players foot going full speed and tore ligaments and tendons on the inside and outside. It hurt like hell for a minute but they taped it and I was fine. Two days later I was out for 6 months.

So the line is Iowa -5.5, and after this injury it went down to -4.5.

That doesn't could like he's that impactful, and yes I know it's too early.

Give me the Cats to get to the S16 provided Pope puts our best out there as much as possible.

Did somone finally break the f***ing curse UK basketball has been under since 2015?!?!

UK lore would say his back up, who only averages 8mpg and shoots 17% from 3 on the year, comes in and posts a double double after shooting 7-9 from deep -- setting a school record in front of his mom in the stands, who's battling some terrible illness.
