That game was there for the taking. What a shame.
They got tired about midway through the 2nd half, their starters played pretty much the whole game.
Played 100%. At least that’s what I heard.
Plus Siena didn't get to shoot any FTs in the 2nd half only Puke.
Darn. Could of been a great upset and made me feel better about the season.
I was praying they would get beat, that would have been glorious.

Say what you want about Duke- hands down better than UK's BBall program and most likely will be for years to come. Players want to be at Duke and Duke has no problem getting them. UK is not what it used to be and will take quite some time to turn around this program. I like Pope, but elite players who want to be at the next level are not coming here. Only players coming here are coming for money and nothing else. They know their basketball careers are done once playing here and might as well get paid well in the process. Until you get a proven coach who can get you to the next level 20-13 records are going to be the new norm for KY.

Lmao duke will never have the tradition UK does. I know it eats at your fanbase. Coach K literally mimicked the Kentucky program. Talked ish about one and done, ONLY until he could start landing those type players, then he started doing the one and done exclusively. Duke still does it to this day.
That duke program is such a fraud. They have every advantage known to man and still come up short in comparison to Kentucky. Coach K said that his biggest win of all time was the 1992 win over Kentucky. Put that into perspective. Took a world class effort from Laettner AND the refs to pull it off. Better hope the media props up duke for the next century. Maybe then they can catch UK. Hands down better program my ***.
