I know Jack a little. He is a great kid. Very talented and probably the best bb player in the family. He will do well wherever he goes and I would anticipate he will land at Penn. However if Connor lands somewhere he might go there, too.

Those McCaffery kids sure know how to extend their time in college indefinitely. How many 4 star recruits in history have missed an entire season and redshirted due to a "dental issue." WTF could that even mean? Even if he had all of his teeth pulled at the same time he'd only be out a week.

Connor played 6 years before it was trendy to do so. I think he fake played baseball as a backup with a .200 batting average.

Patrick redshirted twice as well, due to "mental health issues" and being unable to keep on weight?

You'd think Jack would take this opportunity to do what only .01% of applicants get to do, go get an Ivy League education. Meanwhile he'd be playing at a level that meets his skill set and helping his dad build a program.

Cheap shot at Hokks by USA TODAY College Sports Wire, IMHO. Fran McCaffery has been Penn's coach the past year and has them in the Dance. He has more of a Quakers ID than he does Iowa. He was glad to be out of Iowa City and many of us (thankfully) waved good-bye.

USA Today doesn’t have talented enough writers to accomplish a “cheap shot”.

Why didn't they list Matta as former Ohio State head coach? Same (non) logic applies there.

Unless he is really great, I hope he doesn’t play for his father. The fans tend to be tough on coaches’s kids.

Maybe he could do well with TJ in the frontcourt.

Not trying to be snarky, but doesn't he have to stay outside this State's borders for his off the court stuff?
