These Nationals are very important for building a foundation where we can catch Penn. St. If we match our seeds we will have 1 National Champ and a runnerup. We also we will have 7 other All Americans. Last year we really wrestled well but did not build a foundation with those wrestlers ( did help build a foundation to improve recruiting though because so many were seniors). This year we have 9 wrestlers coming back next year and a great potential 2026 recruiting class. I would like to finish above rankings like the above poster bwel9339 indicates. Next year having a lineup of proven high ranking wrestlers is what Penn. St does.

What’s the point in supporting these guys if you can’t pick them to win it all?

I’m not above some Tonya Harding exploits to help our boys win! Albeit, most of the guys I’d have to injure would need to be asleep for me to accomplish anything substantial and they’d still Wrestle anyway.
