Oh lord. We're back to 2023 then.
I have a good feeling the defense will be the best since Lebby arrived.
That’s not a high bar to clear. But at least we have an actual qualified defensive coordinator now.

Isn't that what every coach who had a bad team last year says every year? What he didn't say is "this team is going to win a lot more games than last year."
More of the same gibberish. Still seems nervous. Rocking back and forth. terrible statement to end your spring press conference on “that will be something that we will continue to work through” . Feels like we’ve already lost.
I think this season completely rides on the back of Zach Arnett and only he can save it.

With the o-line we're going to put on the field, quality of defense won't matter at all....
There's only one man that can save the 2026 season and it ain't Lebby.
I have been done with Lebby for a while now. He can say what he wants, but I do not see the guy making it. He dug his grave.

He knew it was his last rodeo. Had an all SR. O line., Did not win a single SEC game, if I recall.
Queue the usual suspects coming over to tell you how going from 2-10 with no bowl to 5-8 and a bowl blowout was a massive improvement. If you can’t see it, you’re blind!

Don't worry - by mid-July - I will have convinced myself of 7-8 wins.
An old bulldog once told me, "August is the best time to be a State fan".
I mean the bowl game really gave me alot of hope for the upcoming season (eyeroll).
I’m always pessimistic, then everyone on here makes me think I must be crazy and I change my prediction, then I usually come back around to close to what I originally thought. Unfortunately.
