I know this board thinks "ONLY" finishing top 5 SUCKS, but would I be correct in saying Iowa leads that currently with 17 years in a row? Is there a streak longer than OkState's 25 top 4's if you just extend it one placement?

You would be correct. And Oklahoma State's streak extends to 34 years.

Robinson is the only current champ that has a chance at 4. Taylor finished 8th in '24.

Unfortunately, that "Top 5" streak along with the National Finalist streak is in serious jeopardy this year.

Unfortunately, that "Top 5" streak along with the National Finalist streak is in serious jeopardy this year.

I get that they will have a tough time getting ahead of PSU, tOSU, OkState and Nebraska. After that, I doubt they have an issue. With Frost, ISU was the only other team I would worry about. Without him, I think it would take BOTH an underperformance from Iowa and ISU having just about everything go right for Iowa to fall behind them. Cornell and VTech just don't have the number of scorers to worry much about and it drops off even further after that.

The good thing is, for wrestling fans that just love DI wrestling, we only have to wait 5 more days to know the answer!

Unfortunately, that "Top 5" streak along with the National Finalist streak is in serious jeopardy this year.

Even if we find a way to crack the top 5, Iowa wrestling is very close to being the Nebraska football sellout streak of wrestling.
