I've watched them play. One team I hoped we wouldn't draw first game was Santa Clara. They easily could send us packing.
Yeah the games they lost were tough Gonzaga twice st Mary's on the road Saint Louis they lost by a point...then Loyola Arizona st and New Mexico
They played 3 times against Gonzaga and did it much better than we did. I think Pope is 1-3 against Herb Sendek and Santa Clara while he was at BYU.
They are NOT a team that likes to drive and accumulate fouls so our limited bench should not be an issue if we play smart.

Mark gets extended for sweet 16’s, and you’re already seeing some guys who’ve got gaslight syndrome finding any excuse to validate him. He makes sweet 16’s and gets extended, Barnhart is going to act like it’s Stoops going 5-7 beating a 4-8 Auburn team. It’ll be a celebration and he gets extended.

One thing to note, Santa Clara's last game, was 5 days ago. By the time this game tips, they will have not played live game action for 10 days. When you depend on outside shooting, that's not what you want.
Very young team that the computers love. They don’t turn the ball over and shoot a lot of 3s. Game simply probably comes down to whether they make them.

I love our chances. Their leading scorer is a 6 4 guard and OO and Aberdeen will hold him down. UK played a much more tough competitive schedule. Way more physical and fast opponents. Higher level opponents have toughened UK. Team with a big chip.
No I ran it in torvick and Kenpom. Didn’t realize it was out so quickly. And it appears we opened only -1.5 and already bet to -2.5, so I was off by 1.
All I care about is what their rebounding looks like...as thats where we constantly get beat
