The U.S. Department of War has identified the six Air Force airmen who were killed when a KC-135 refueling aircraft crashed in western Iraq earlier this week.
I heard the same and haven't seen anything new since they reported it was likely a midair collision with a second aircraft.
That's what i was thinking. We're cramming years of activity, some of it at the highest level of difficulty from a task standpoint, into weeks. We are also accepting higher risk levels for activities than would be "normal" in peacetime. Accidents happen. Its a sad fact.
