Even better is that he has a top 30 visit with the commanders lined up

Two things. Brad Kragthorpe is the son of Steve Kragthorpe, former head coach of Louisville. Steve Kragthorpe passed away in 2024 from complications due to Parkinson's disease. That's awful.

Would love it for him to go in the 4th and turn into a starter.
Wasn’t Kirk Cousins drafted in the 4th after RG3 in the 1st round by the Deadskins?

Whoever gets the “Cadillac Mantis” in the 4th round will be lucky. Hopefully he goes to a winning team and not a perennial loser like the Raiders.

He seems like he's the type of guy, in the right situation, who could make a living for a number of years as a backup QB. There's certainly far worse QBs that have had pretty long careers as backups. He also seems like the type of guy who mentally could accept a role as a backup QB, ready to play when needed. Some top college QBs, who aren't going to be NFL starters, can't handle that role.

Tom Brady was drafted in the 6th round.
And of course Kurt Warner was undrafted.

I would love to see Athan get drafted, but wish him better than a black hole of a franchise that is the Raiders.

Tommy Cutlets just signed a $4M 2 year deal with the Patriots. Not a bad gig for a guy who flashed in his final year at Illinois (he did have a decent second season at Cuse too):

these position scales need to be 86'd. no way a guy that will hold a clipboard should be making this.
