You keep posting something that is totally false and adding a dead link. I linked you the info from Hogstats.com. Did you even look at it?
yes and you are correct IF we take the SEC Tournament games into consideration, however I was talking about the regular seasons matchups between Nolan and Pitino through the 1995 season, before Nolan's health issues. So in a sense, we are both correct. But I respect your knowledge, Paul J. Calhoun.

We should have hired him back when he left Boston. Cowardly Kentucky administration couldn't see the bigger picture.
I said that very thing back then. Tubby was not cutting it at UK and I wanted Pitino back. Sure Rick going to Louisville was a crime in of itself but our admin letting that happen was the bigger crime.

That said I don’t think Cal was ever going to succeed here after 2017. That year took everything out of him. Especially not with Barnhart as AD

Pitino drank a beer during the post-game interview too. Pope can only feign anger "off camera" during those.

They should've yes but that was never going to happen because of having to fire Tubby. It would've been a horrible look on Kentucky considering the image that's perceived about Rupp.

I see no reason to invoke race or the shameful dishonest smear campaign against Rupp. To fire Tubby at that point would have been a low class move without any of that considered.

Pitino is pretty good at beating anyone other than Nolan, who routinely ate this lunch when Arkansas was beating UK every single time they played in the early to mid 90's.
Go back & check the head to head wins & you'll see it changed after the first few games.

It would've been a low class move & he wasn't having losing seasons, so, if they would've fired him, all that other stuff would've been brought up.
