Ironically, even though we just had a coaching search that came down to Mark Pope or Shaka Smart (100% confirmed by Matt Jones), we must continue the same mantra: “Anyone is better than who we have”, amirite?

CCC never really embraced the SECT. If he had his way UK wouldn't have played.

He’s definitely improved on taking advantage of the bracket opening up for him. Something he couldn’t do here his last 7 years.

I thought it was time for Cal to go but anyone that doesn’t wish Cal were here instead of Pope is delusional. Pope isn’t on the same planet as Cal, much less the same block. Calipari hasn’t missed UK one bit, he is still bringing in top talent and you might not win a championship with them but you sure aren’t going to win one without talent.

I can’t believe so many people hate Cal. He represented the university and team very well. The man is a good Catholic and had some bad years but no coach is perfect. Coach K and Self have been upset in the first rounds of the NCAA. Duke a 2 seed lost to Lehigh, Kansas lost to Bucknell. I don’t hate Cal, I don’t want him to win at Arkansas but some of yall act like he killed someone.

Notice he’s not pushed every freshman out the door at Arkansas and has tried much harder keeping guys there than he ever did here.
