Is it me or did it used to feel like NJ used to get more National champs and AA in the past… still high in the qualifiers count but the other states aren’t too far off.. coulda sworn there was a period where NJ was getting multiple national champs every year or at least more then now..

2019 had Ashnault, Surianio, Lewis champs. '22 Suriano. '23 Glory, '24 Stanich

New Jersey had more AAs then Pennsylvania last year

2019 Suriano Ashanault, Mekhi and Cassar won and McKenna took 2nd but should have won. 21 Shane Griffith won, 22 Suriano won and glory , Mekhi and Griffith all took 2nd. 23 Glory won, 24. No finalists but a few 3rds and 4ths. 25 no finalists but more AAs then PA and had 5 lose in the semis.

Thanks for the additions and subtraction I felt NJ champs were more than I had, but it was a quick look for me. And I didnt go back as I listed Stanich but was scratching my head as I listed him. He is from my area and I didnt remember him winning but had no time to verify.

103 Ryan Fikslin Roxbury - upset AA Perelli who was 3rd. 5 out of the 8 placers won at least 1 title.

112- Ryan Wilson Rahway - beat Ashnault in the finals. it’s too bad he got hurt his jr and sr year Wilson was real good. A 2x champ and another champ placed in the top 8

119- Mike Grey - 2x AA

125- Molinaro beat Burroughs. Ncaa champ beats ncaa champ and D3 national champ Livingston took 3rd and future ok state starter Notte took 5th

130-Darrion Caldwell - ncaa champ

135 - Nick Orio Eastern . 4x NCAA qualifer Cocozzo was 5th

140- Dan Vallimont Jefferson - NCAA Finalist and ncaa 3rd

145- Tom Fazio Lakeland. Runner Scotton was 3x NCAA qualifier

152- Andrew Flangan 3x NQ and R12
2nd place was Alex Caruso 4x NQ, Spellman a 1x NQ 3rd

160- Scott Giffen Eastern- AA for Upenn

171- Mark Prieffer Overbrook. DJ Russo was 5th and Jared Platt Blair/Randolph didn’t even place

189- Vince Jones Winslow - AA and 3x R12
Lamar Brown was 4th and a NQ

215 Dave Zabriske- NCAA Champ
4th , 6th and 7th place all played mutiple years in the NFL

285 John Price Washington twp. NCAA champ Rey 4th
3rd and 6th played in the NFL

same as the 2006 season with an extra ncaa champ and ncaa finalist
